01.016.08: Awards Be Gone
|
 Did anyone watch the Golden Globe awards the other night? Critics are saying it was the worst awards show ever in the history of awards shows. I'm not so sure about that. I actually thought it was great to not have the pomp and circumstance, the loooong boring speeches and the over achieving hosts. The announcements were short, sweet and to the point. Just tell me who won and move on!
I think all awards shows should be just like Sunday night's Golden Globes. In fact, if you really think about it....do we really need awards shows anymore anyway? Do you get to dress up to attend a HUGE dinner for YOUR job only to sit there nervously wondering if you will be picked as this year's tool and die manager of the year? Yeah...I didn't think so. |
