1.09.08: Joy of Snot

I caught a cold. My first one of the season. In fact, it's my first in about two years. But I am more than making up for it now. I've been up most every night since Friday coughing and hacking. My nose is raw and peeling from blowing it endlessly and I'm doped up on so much cold medicine I don't know what day it is.

However, my friend caught the stomach flu over the weekend. I will spare you the gory details but it wasn't pretty. His sickness lasted 24 hours. Mine seems to be lasting 24 days. Now, I ask you.....would you rather:

A. Catch a bad cold that lasts for two weeks until all symptoms are gone.

or

B. Catch a 24 hour stomach virus that makes you feel like you want to die.

If you ask me, I'll take A over B any day, anytime. I will do everything in my power to NOT catch the stomach flu. If that means wearing rubber gloves and a surgical mask to work when someone has been sick, so be it.

Here's to your health this cold and flu season........and DON'T FORGET THE HAND SANITIZER!

Seriously, Ginger, you will be surprised if you will drink the Immune Support and since you have been under the weather, I suggest the Cold Weather Tea. You can even buy it online at yogitea.com I have shared it with many co-workers who always find it so helpful, they buy it for themselves and keep it in their desk.
