1/14/08 Yoke Ono of Football.

I really don't believe that.  Jessica Simpson should not get the blame because the Cowboys lost.  Tony Romo should.  As well as the rest of the Dallas Cowboys.   Tony Romo couldn't stand up and lead his team to victory.  He failed two years in a row to get the Cowboys into the "big game".  It took Payton Manning year and years to get his team into the "big game".  That is just how it goes for some young quarterbacks.

I strongly believe that when Tony Romo drops back to pass, he isn't thinking "I wonder how my butt looks in these pants? I hope it looks good because I know Jessica is watching me."  I guarantee she isn't even in his mind.  The better team won yesterday, and the better team will win this weekend.

As for the Packers.  I was really hoping that the Cowboys would win.  Then that would give Brett Favre a chance to go to Dallas and finally win.  Then really give them the confidence and momentum they need going into the "big game".  But instead, it SHOULD be the easy route to victory in Lambeau field.  I would rather not have Green Bay get into the "big game" and lose.  If the Chargers (by some miracle)win Sunday, then I think that the Packers WILL be world champions.  If the Patriots win, then I'm kinda hoping to save the Packers the embarrassment of going to Arizona.  I know that the Patriots will win the "big game" if they get there.  They have way more experience.  They are a dynasty when it comes that.  If the Packers lose the "big game" it will guarantee Brett Favre's return for another year.  If the Packers win the "big game"  It will guarantee Brett's retirement.  That will happen before the post game show even starts.  Would Brett really want to lose more "big game's" than he wins?  Hmmmm...

If for some reason the Packers play the Patriots in the "big game", it will be a rematch of #31.  Desmond Howard (#81) was MVP.  Which leads me to believe that #81 will be MVP again.  Not Tom Brady...not Brett Favre...but Koren Robinson.  It's stupid to say, but a kick return for a touchdown to put the Packers up by 6 in the 4th quarter would lock that in.  We shall see.  But I love the Packers, I just don't want to see Brett lose another "big game"

To be continued...
