11/30/07 Snow

I really wish that we could get some snow with this cold weather. I guess then then the temperatures would be more tolerable. One of my favorite things about winter is getting to go sledding! I haven't gone in a couple of years, but I'm really exited to pull the inner tube out and head to the hills.
Growing up, my parents had this huge toboggan which came in handy growing up in the country. I remember how big it was to carry up a hill, but once you got there, it was a lot of fun coming down the hill in. This one time, at the bottom of the hill was a barbed-wire fence. We usually stopped short of it, but after a couple of runs, the snow got more packed and we ended up going a little farther each time. Finally, we ended up going right underneath the barbed-wire fence. Luckily, we both ducked and escaped injury. We also had a couple of other types of sled's my sister and I would have fun with.
I hope that we get oodle's and oodle's of snow this weekend, so I can go sledding. Plus, I need the excersise. Have a a great weekend! |
