12.03.07: Tree Time
|
 I picked out my Christmas tree over the weekend. I decided on the more expensive Fraser Fir tree but it was completely worth the cost. It's beautiful and it smells wonderful too. I picked it out on Friday night since I knew the rest of the weekend would be horrible.....but perfect for staying in and decorating the tree. Never mind that a set of lights blew out AFTER I checked them and put them ON the tree! (That required a trip to Walmart in the snow on Saturday morning....but never mind that) 
It's funny how you put the same ornaments on the tree year after year but when you pull them out of the box it still gives you that wistful feeling. I cried over a couple of ornaments I pulled out of the box. I'm happy with my little tree and how it looks this year. I hope you had/have as much fun decorating your tree as I did. And don't let the burned out lights get you down.
