12/26/07 Christmas
|
Christmas is the time of the year to spend precious time with your family, friends and loved ones. It is also the time of the year that gives you an opportunity to see relatives that you don't get to see very often. It's also the time of the year that I get to load up the car with items that I didn't have going into December 25th. Presents!!
I actually made out really well this year. All that my Christmas list included was three things. And I didn't get any of them. I wanted cologne, a beard trimmer, and for the song "All I Want For Christmas Is You" to come true. Even though I didn't get what I wanted this year, I still had a really good Christmas.
I got a big roaster, so I can finally cook all of the chickens I have in my freezer. I got a bunch of puzzles, a fishing pole, a bunch of healthy spices (a lot), a singing bear, a collection of glasses, a couple of sweaters, a very nice framed picture of me and Barry Alvarez, fishing pictures in fishing frames, wine, Captain Morgan, gift cards for a bunch of places, and a lot of cash! I could be forgetting things, but it filled up my car easily. I'm spoiled...I know. :) |
