3/6/08 Pool & Favre
|
Another Wednesday night has come and gone and so has another week of pool league. And another loss for my team. I know it is a fun league, but it really isn't fun if you don't win. It's not that we lose, it's that we really aren't even close to winning. Since the first week of league, it seems as if we have just gone at a stready decline to the bottom of the pool bucket.
We've tried a lot of different things for luck. Whether it is the "Magic 8 Ball" for luck, or pre game cheers. I don't know what else to do to increase players moral. Only a couple more weeks to go...
And Brett Favre retired. A sad time in Packerland. It's kinda crazy living in Wisconsin and something like this happens. People respond to it in the same manner as if JFK was shot again, or September 11th happened again. I think it must hit the same nerve, or a relative of the denial nerve.
My opinion-- He will be back. |
