Ready or not, the Oscars are here.

Just this morning, the nominations were announced. Check out the entire list of the 80th Annual Academy Awards. I'm going to be bold and make my pick for best picture, because my favorite movie of 2007..."Once" was not nominated. So I'll hand the best picture nod out to "There Will Be Blood."

In any case, I saw the trailer for the new Star Trek movie over the weekend. It's due out this Christmas and it chronicles the beginning of Captain James T. Kirk and his buddy Spock. The big question is whether William Shatner will be in it.
