Lets recap two significant sporting events that happened over the weekend.
First, lets never play "Jump Around" by House of Pain at the Kohl Center ever again. They did it for the first time on Saturday, when the Badger Men's Hockey Team and Minnesota Duluth were tied and heading into overtime. Mere moments after playing the song, Minnesota Duluth scored the winning goal. To add insult to injury, the dumb Bulldog goalie said the song really energized their team. Lets keep that one reserved for Camp Randall.
Second, of course was the big football game. Hurrah for the underdog Giants winning, but this time I was more interested in the advertisements. On purpose, I often try to avoid seeing commercials, but this time I actually watched them. Why? For you.
I wanted to have something interesting to say about them, so in turn you might be interested in hearing what I might have to say. It also kind of a social thing too. Everyone at the party I was at was paying close attention, and we were all enjoying the moment together. Oh well. I guess the spell the ad execs cast over me worked this time.
