 I'm not the only one who's shocked.
I'm no statistical genius or anything even close to it, but how does a sub .500 team get invited to play in the NCAA tournament? Even Badger Hockey coach Mike Eaves says he was surprised when the NCAA selection committee announced that The Badgers would be playing this weekend.
I guess the planets aligned just right for Bucky. The east coast teams that needed to lose; lost. The Badgers schedule difficulty was just difficult enough and the other factors (including that Wisconsin was hosting part of the tournament) all worked out.
So, am I complaining? Not at all. I had already accepted the fact that I wasn't going to see my boys plan another game until next season. This is kinda like finding those extra fries at the bottom of your fast food take out bag! |
