Ready to fly the friendly skies?
By now, you may have seen the video of a German pilot trying ot land a passenger jet in 100 MPH crosswinds. Its pretty freaky, but its a testament to the pilots skills to be able to kick the plane into gear, touch and go and try and re-land. Just imagine being one of the passengers. Later media reports said the airline was going to give psychological exams to passengers that needed it.
I'm sure we've all had our travel nightmares. Mine happened on a Northworst(west) flight from Hawaii to Chicago. Turns out we only made it half way and had to emergency land in San Diego, because we lost one of our engines over the Pacific Ocean. I survived, but its jaded my outlook on flying a bit.
That being said, I have a price. Gimmie $100 tickets and I'll put my life in the pilots hands again. Flying is still one of the greatest inventions!
