The Jeopardy! recap.
I think that everyone should experience a taping of a game show at least once in thier life. Seeing Jeopardy! tape their college championship at the Kohl Center was undoubtedly a unique experience.
A couple of things I observed while sitting in the studio audience is that people love to shout out the answer. Granted we were far enough away from the stage that there was no way to hear, but knowing an answer in front of a crowd of over one thousand it takes a lot of restraint not to shout it out. An a lot of people proved they had no restraint.
I also found out that Alex Trebek is a hockey fan! A tried and true Canadian, Trebek said he went to school in Quebec and was a life long Montreal Canadians fan. Good to know we have something in common. He took the time to speak to the audience during the commercial breaks and that made the taping that much more of a entertainment piece.
Even though the trivia was tough, I could tell the contestants felt the strain of performing in front of a crowd. I was just glad to have known all of the questions from a French category in the first round.
