 Madisonian Denise Jackson has made it through to Hollywood again! This was not necessarily a week where a lot of contestants made it to Hollywood on American Idol, but of the 36 people who made it, 2 are from Wisconsin! Denise Jackson, who is from Madison, made it for the second time, and Angelica Puente, from Kenosha, is on her first trip to American Idol Hollywood Week. I think each of these 17 year olds has a good chance of making the top 24. Denise didn’t get a lot of camera time. I hope that means she gets more during Hollywood week! (That's her on the right.)
This year there seem to be fewer really stand out performances. I’m not just saying good performances, but bad performances, too. I actually like watching the good singers better than the terrible singers or the people just looking for some camera time. One more week of auditions, then it’s Hollywood for a week, then the voting starts! |
