Florida on my mind!  I had a wonderful vacation.  I didn't do much of anything.  That's what made it great.  My mother and I went to Ft. Lauderdale.  We walked, read, and layed around everyday except one.  We took a bus to Key West for a quick day trip.  My goal was to find the best Key Lime Pie on the island.  We walked from place to place trying the pie.  We tried 5 different pies!  (We shared each piece, so it seems like we ate more than we did.)  If you are going to Key West and would like to try different pies, one place you must include is called Kermit's.  It's a little off the main street, so it can easily be missed.  It's at the end of Greene street, and really only about 3 or 4 blocks from the main street (Duval St.)  I brought a couple of mixes home from there and already made my own, but there's is still better.  I don't know what they put in there crust, but it rocked!  I am going to go back to my dream state and remember the delicious pie in the sunshine!  (If you click on the logo, it'll take you to their web site.)
