Pre-Spring cleaning.  I got a good jump on Spring cleaning this weekend.  I spent most of my time cleaning out two storage rooms and the general living space in my basement.  YIKES!  Do I have the stuff!  Much of what was down there has been in the same box for nearly 6 years.  Most of it is in my garage waiting for warmer weather and rummage sale season.  Whatever is left after that will be donated.  I did have a ton of garbage, though.  Some stuff just couldn’t be recycled.  The garbage completely filled my Madison issued garbage bin.  I bet the trash collectors were happy they had a big arm pick up all the trash.  Some of it was a bit heavy.

It feels really good to have things a bit more organized.  My goal is to never put anymore stuff down in the storage room.  I don’t need any more stuff.  Next I have to tackle my closets upstairs.  Especially my bedroom closet.  I swear I clean that thing out every 6 months.  It would be nice to be done before Thursday, so that I can have my Spring cleaning complete before Spring starts!  (I know that won’t happen, but I can still dream.)
