POTHOLES!  Sorry, I’m just a little worried about how many of them there are and how deep they are.  I know that the weather has been too out of whack for the street crews to do much about them, but they still drive me nuts.

Today is National Grammar Day, and that made me think of my 7^th grade language arts class, where we learned about similes.  I came up with these similes for potholes.

A Jack-in-the-box; you know they are around, but they still surprise you when they pop up.

My bike tires; they get filled up, but in a couple of days need filling again.

Reality TV; you do your best to avoid them, but somehow one or two of them can suck you in.
