Popcorn And A Movie With Adam Fool's Gold

You’re in luck if you’re looking for a decent date movie, but don’t expect too much depth here.
In Fool's Gold, an often shirtless Matthew McConaughey and Kate Hudson play an estranged married couple, that are experts at finding lost treasure. She pouts about his immature ways, but can’t seem to let him go (apparently because of his skills in the sack.) He plays a wacky, fly-by-the-seat-of-your-pants surfer dude, who still has puppy eyes for her.
Donald Sutherland also makes an appearance as the money that backs the treasure expedition. He brings with him a Paris Hilton-like daughter that brings something far less than comic relief.
There wasn’t a lot of chemistry between McConaughey and Hudson. In fact, most of scenes they shared seemed quite contrived. In all, a tolerable romantic, comedic adventure with kudos going out to McConaughey’s personal trainer.
One complaint: isn’t Malcolm Jamal-Warner a higher class of actor than this? He’s given a stereotypical island accent and doesn’t even make it to the end credits. Come on Hollywood. That’s Theo Huxtable we’re talking about!
