Popcorn And A Movie With Adam Juno

Well deserving of its positive critical review, Juno is the type of film that reminds you why movies are great.
What makes this movie great, is a collection of sharp and witty performances by the entire cast, led by a quirky teenage girl named Juno (Ellen Page). Juno discovers she’s pregnant after an awkward teenage encounter with her Tic-Tac loving friend Bleeker (Michael Cera). Then, she’s forced to make a decision about what to do.
What’s enticing is that we begin with the makings of a screwball comedy, but it turns into something more. Juno has a charming, bold and cocky quality that’s delivered with trendy dialogue. It makes her someone you want to know. She’s effortlessly makes adult decisions, but we learn that she’s really just masking her fears. That brings out her human qualities and we see Juno is just like you and I.
The film outdoes the geek-chic factor of films like Napolean Dynamite, and we end up falling in love with the characters. We are left wanting more of them.
Second Opinion: My girlfriend Vanessa enjoyed it, even with the migraine headache she was suffering.
