From Monday, November 10-14, Adam Elliott, co-morning show host with Fletch & Heather, hung out in the Wisconsin RV World Supercruiser at the Mertier Home Health Store donation site collecting donations in hopes of stocking the the Mayflower truck with 12,000 lbs of food . All donations went through the local Community Action Coalition which represents the local area food pantries--all donaitons will stay in our communities!
Opportunity First place won a $1,000 donation to your school from General Casualty.
The second place school won $700 and the third place school won $300 thanks to Meriter.
And the Winners Are...
1st Place – Deerfield Elementary – 8, 137lbs – $1,000 prize
2nd Place – Monona Grove HS – 4,202lbs- $700 prize
3rd Place – McFarland HS – 4,110lbs - $300 prize
Thanks to everyone that helped us fill the Mayflower truck with 28,472 lbs of food!

11.10.08 - 11.14.08: Thanksgiving On The Mayflower 2008 WOLX teamed up with General Casualty, Meriter, Mayflower outside Meriter's Home Health Store off the Beltline, filling a Mayflower truck with nonperishable food items to give to those in need in our community. Thanks to all the listeners, schools and businesses that helped in our efforts!
