Thank you for welcoming me as the newest member of the WOLX staff! Being on the air with Fletch and Adam is such a treat...I've worked in radio for close to 20 years and this is the most fun I've ever had without a doubt.
I started my career in Tallahassee, Florida while attending Florida State University. After graduation, I moved to Gainesville, Florida for four years and then spent a decade in Jacksonville, Florida. I met my husband there; we have one son who is now a first grader and the light of our lives.
When my husband found his perfect job is Madison, I was thrilled. The area is beautiful, the city is lively and the schools are awesome too. My friends here are wonderful, especially my neighborhood mom's group. We meet up once a month to try new restaurants and dish the gossip. It's a blast!
I also spent a year on the air in Milwaukee (what a commute!) before coming to WOLX. I hope that I'm here for a very, very long time.
My favorite thing in the world to do is read and I read everything--fiction and non, magazines and thousand page epic novels. I devour books. I also enjoy cooking, particularly baking cookies. If you've got an awesome cookie recipe, please send it my way! I'll make a batch for Fletch, Adam and I to taste test on the air.
